Equal Chances for BIPOC Blood Cancer Patients

from Swab The World

Blood cancer affects everyone, but survival rates vary due to the need for ethnically matched stem cell donors. Swab the World is dedicated to increasing awareness and diversifying the global registry of stem cell donors, ensuring BIPOC patients have an equal chance at life-saving treatment. Currently, they are focusing on creating social media campaigns for two patients located in the GTA—one Black and one Multiethnic—to find their perfect donor matches. Each campaign includes custom design elements, social media posts, ads, and video content tailored to the patient’s story. Let’s fund these crucial campaigns, giving these patients a fair fight against blood cancer.

Gift Cards for Birthday Teens

from Birthday Wonders

Everyone deserves to feel special on their birthday, and Birthday Wonders, a charity in Toronto, is dedicated to making that happen for marginalized children and teens experiencing homelessness. By providing gift cards, we empower these young individuals to choose something they truly want, adding a personal touch to their celebrations. These children face significant challenges, and having a day where they are celebrated for who they are can make a world of difference. Join us in making their birthdays unforgettable!

LGBTQ2S+ Community Pantry

from Durham Alliance Outreach

Many members of the LGBTQ2S+ community in Durham, supported by Durham Alliance Outreach, are experiencing food insecurity. This dedicated organization is in urgent need of non-perishable food items for their community pantry. By contributing, we can help ensure that these individuals have access to consistent and nutritious meals, easing their worries about where their next meal will come from. Let’s join forces to support this essential community resource!

Why am I seeing this?

Because you’re a part of the Kodak Lens family of customers or fans! We want you to have a say in where our charitable contribution is allocated.

How do you pick the needs?

We partner with Troop, a social enterprise in Toronto to select the local needs we share with you. Troop is on a mission to build communities where basic needs don’t go unmet and we’re joining the mission.

Can I share a need for a local charity?

Yes! If you work with a charity or non-profit and you think they would benefit from sharing their needs with local businesses and customers, you can email the Troop team here: [email protected].
